    The Kanei Cory (Hoplisoma kanei), also known as the Kane’s cory or C046, is endemic to Rio Blanco: a single tributary of Rio Negro in Brazil. Growing only up to 1.5 inches, this bottom-dwelling fish is an excellent choice for a peaceful community tank. Like most of their cory relatives, they will thrive best in relatively soft, acidic water on a fine sand substrate. These rare corydoras are a social fish and will do best in groups of 5 or more.

Due to their enormous adult size, they require a substantial indoor pond to be kept long term.
