The colorful Porcelain Anemone Crab (Neopetrolisthes ohshimai) makes a great addition to reef aquariums. This crustacean typically lives in pairs in association with a host sea anemone where they eat planktonic food and mucus from the anemone. In the aquarium these crabs can be protective of their anemone and aggressive towards conspecifics.

Bright and colorful, the Halloween Hermit Crab (Ciliopagurus strigatus) is a wonderful aquarium addition! In the wild, these hermit crabs can be found in the Red Sea and Hawaii. They will consume cyanobacteria and algae in the aquarium along with scavenging for left over foods making them a valuable addition to any cleaner crew. They are considered to be generally reef safe as well.

The Harlequin Shrimp (Hymenocera picta) is a charismatic and unique choice for your saltwater aquarium. Easily recognized by its bright white body covered with colorful spots, these shrimp feed only on echinoderms (starfish and urchins) and are generally considered reef-safe. If you have an Asterina invasion, these shrimp will go straight to work cleaning your tank! They grow up to 2-inches, with females being slightly larger than the males as adults.
