$29.99

The Red Pistol Shrimp (Alpheus bisincisus), also known as the Japanese Snapping Shrimp, is native to the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific. Pistol Shrimp get their name from being able to snap their claws with extreme speed, sending an air bubble and a shock wave towards their prey to hunt. These shrimp are a beautiful and helpful additional to a saltwater setup, as they will sift through your sandy substrate to hunt and create a interesting symbiotic relationship with any gobies.
