The Pale Spotted or Gossei Cory is a medium growing, uncommonly imported species of Corydoras found in the middle Amazon tributaries Rio Mamore and Rio Madeira. In the wild, they tend to inhabit white or clear water areas over fine sand substrate. Like all Corydoras, this species is a loosely schooling fish that should be kept in a group of at least 5.
