Goldline Caqueta Knifefish (Sternopygus sp. ‘Caqueta’)
$49.99
A new and likely undescribed species of knifefish originating in Colombia’s Rio Caqueta, this species appears to be related to the Goldline Knifefish (Sternopygus macrurus). A large species which will readily eat small fish, these knifefish are ideal for a species tank or a community aquarium consisting of large but relatively peaceful tankmates. Like most knifefish, they appreciate having ample hiding places but are not particularly shy.
