Fox Face Catfish (Goeldiella eques)

The Fox Face Catfish (Goeldiella eques), also known as the Fox Face or Horsehead Pimelodella Catfish, is a unique species of three-barbeled catfish native to assorted basins of the Amazon. They are a relatively large and peaceful freshwater giant, growing up to 10 inches long. Beware however, they will eat smaller fish given the opportunity! These fish will do best in tanks with sandy or gravel substrate, mellow lighting, and plenty of hiding spaces like driftwood.
