Banana/Golden Moray Eel (Gymnothorax miliaris)

Native to the tropical reefs of the South American Atlantic, the Banana/Golden Moray Eel (Gymnothorax miliaris) is a beautiful species and sought-after by experienced saltwater aquarists. Their bright yellow bodies with black spots make them a desirable choice for well-researched reef tanks with lots of hiding places. These fish grow up to approximately 2 feet long and are predatory. They can coexist with tankmates, but make sure they are larger than your eel’s mouth!
