Originally from India, Lagenandra meeboldii ‘Red’ is a rare and uncommon plant with broad red and green leaves. As with most brightly colored plants, this plant will display its brightest reds and pinks in an environment with CO2 injection and plenty of nutrients. However, it can still do well in low-tech setups as long as it is provided with low to moderate light. It is versatile medium to large plant and can grow either emersed or submerged.
