L114 Leopard Cactus Pleco (Pseudacanthicus cf. leopardus)


A beautifully patterned cactus pleco known only from a tributary of Brazil’s Rio Negro, the Leopard Cactus Pleco inhabits warm, acidic blackwater areas in the wild. In the aquarium, they are hardy and adaptable, but will do best in relatively soft water and when given plenty of driftwood or other hides. A mainly carnivorous species, they should be offered protein-rich foods like Repashy Gel Diets or Fluval Bug Bites.
