Green Banded Pike Cichlid (Lugubria cincta)

This uncommonly imported species of Crenicichla is found throughout much of the Amazon basin from its mouth to areas approaching its mouth in Ecuador, where they tend to inhabit moderate or fast-moving waters. An aggressive and territorial species, they are best suited to a species tank or with large, fast-moving dither fish.
