Black Tiger Badis (Dario sp. ‘Myanmar’)

$9.99

The Black Tiger or Burmese Tiger Badis is a small growing, attractively patterned relative of the more well-known Scarlet Badis found originating in Northern Myanmar (Burma) where it is found in shallow, slow-moving waters. A relatively recent addition to the aquarium hobby, these fish are similar in care and behavior to the Scarlet Badis. In the aquarium, they will do best in heavily planted tanks with ample cover and in groups of 5 or more. Because of their small adult size and shy nature, the the is best kept with similarly sized, extremely peaceful tankmates.
