Black Leg Vampire Crab (Geosesarma cf. rouxi)

The Black Leg Vampire Crab is a small colorful terrestrial crustacean from Indonesia that does well in a semi-aquatic environment. In the wild, they inhabit tropical stream banks and hillsides and are usually found in large groups. In captivity, they require a warm, humid environment with clean moving water. The high contrast orange carapace and black legs make it one of the more striking Geosesarma species.
