Waigeo Rainbowfish for sale

Native only to Waigeo Island, West Papua, the Waigeo Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia catherinae) is a rare fish to come by in the hobby. They are known to be energetic yet peaceful schooling fish, making them suitable tankmates for freshwater community tanks. Similar to other rainbowfish, they are generally peaceful schooling fish and should be kept in a group of 5 or more.
