Trachycorystes galeatus

The Common Woodcat (Trachelyopterus galeatus) is native to freshwater sources dispersed across South America. Like most woodcats, they are primarily nocturnal, spending most of the day hidden within driftwood or other shelter. These catfish are relatively large, growing up to 8.5″ long, and are generally peaceful towards other similarly-sized fish.
