Sunburst Gudgeon for sale

A medium growing goby found in coastal waters from Northeastern Australia to Taiwan and Southern China, the Sunburst Gudgeon or Tropical Carp Gudgeon is an adaptable species found in brackish to pure freshwater habitats. In the aquarium, they are hardy and undemanding, and will live in groups as long as ample space and cover is provided for each fish to stake out a territory. The species is sexually dimorphic, and mature males in breeding condition display brilliant reddish orange coloration with vivid blues in the fins. Generally peaceful towards fish too small to be eaten, this fish will do well with most tankmates.
