Bandit / Metae Cory (Hoplisoma metae)
Price range: $6.99 through $7.99An attractively marked and longtime hobby favorite the Bandit or Metae Cory is a peaceful shoaling fish often found in large groups in the wild. It inhabits clear water streams and pools throughout the Rio Meta in Colombia. In the aquarium they are hardy and undemanding, an excellent and active bottom-dweller for most community tanks. Like most Corydoras they should be kept in groups of at least five fish.
