The Hingemouth Fish (Phractolaemus ansorgii) is quite the oddball fish originating out of Africa. There is very little information out there about the long term care of these fish. They do seem to be very hardy in captivity, feeding on a variety of frozen and pellet foods. They are well mannered, reported to live long lifespans, and reach a fairly decent size around 9″.  Be sure to offer soft substrates and a good amount of surface area for them to explore.
