Brilliant Rasbora

Native to Thailand, the Brilliant Rasbora (Rasbora einthovenii) is named for its stunning brilliant red tail that contrasts well with its golden-green body. It lives in acidic forest streams high in tannins. This fish displays best with a dark sandy substrate and driftwood in black water conditions. They will eat prepared foods as well as a variety of frozen foods, such as daphina. These fish are social and vibrant, making them perfect for a community tank. They are best kept in groups of 10 or more.
