East African Gilled Lungfish Import
All of us at Aqua Imports are proud to announce our newest arrival and our first import of the incredibly rare Gilled Lungfish (Protopterus amphibius). This ancient fish is found in shallow creeks and swamps throughout East Africa and is the smallest species of lungfish with a reported adult size of 18”. A true rarity, we imported these fish directly from our supplier in East Africa and we believe this is the first import of this species into the US in many years – if not first overall.
