The Gold Neon Stiphodon Goby (Stiphodon percnopterygionus), also known as the Gold Neon Dwarf Goby, is a freshwater species native to Taiwan, Micronesia, and Japan. They are rare in the aquarium hobby, adding to their allure as a unique, sought-after fish. Males are bright blue and orange and females are shimmery silver with black stripes across their sides. The peaceful Gold Neon Stiphodon Goby eats algae and other biofilm in the tank, making it a great tankmate in a solo or community tank. When kept in groups, they will also exhibit interesting behaviors such as courtship behaviors and females congregation!
